The Lasithi plateau, which stretches over 50km2 and lies at an average altitude of 850m, is the starting point of numerous hiking trails.
You can find it encircled by the Mount Selena (1599m) and the Dikti mountains. You have to do a detour just for the beauty of the landscapes. Have a look at the photos, they are quite eloquent.
